No distance is too great for true love

                               FROM AFAR

                                           ABOUT THIS POEM:

This poem goes out to those of us who love someone from a

distance, but yet are too scared to go up and tell them. As

you will see in the poem, one of the reasons for the fear is

what others may think and say. Another reason is rejection.

So we keep the feelings to ourselves.

As I watch you everyday pass by

Your walk, your talk, your smile, your laugh

My heart saddens as you leave for the day

The longing already starts to see you again tomorrow

From afar, I love you

A secret buried deep within

For outside, ridicule would be the words

Said by those who don't understand

For I feel I have loved you through the ages

Oh, Eternal Princess

As then and as now

My love has not failed

When I leave, I take you with me

Through my imagination we live

A nighttime of dreams awaits me

Being in love with you

Maybe one day true courage will arise

And I reveal to you these feelings

But again tomorrow, as like every day

I will love you....

          From afar
